About the Recipe
This pizza recipe is a homemade version of classic pizza, featuring a soft dough with slightly crispy edges. Baked in a sheet pan, it’s easy to make and can be topped with anything from traditional margherita to more creative flavors. The dough only needs a little time to rise, and once it’s rolled out, it’s ready for toppings and the oven. The result is a perfect pizza for sharing, ideal for slicing up and enjoying with friends or family.

Ingredients
400g strong flour
280ml water
9g fresh yeast (3g dry yeast)
10g salt
20ml olive oil
Tomato souce
Mozzarella cheese
Oregano
Preparation
Step1
In a bowl, mix the flour, yeast and water. Let it rest for 20 minutes.
Step2
Then add the oil and salt to the mixture. Knead until the oil is completely absorbed and let it rise for about 2 hours (or it will have doubled in volume). Every hour, open the dough and fold it to give strength to the mixture.
Step3
Spread the dough in an oiled pan, add the tomato sauce and mozzarella.
Step4
Bake at 250°C for about 20 minutes, or until golden and crispy.
Why I Love This Dish
Pizza has always been one of my favorite dishes, and while I love enjoying it at a pizzeria, there’s something special about being able to make it at home whenever I want. Pizza in Teglia is easy to make, super versatile, and you can switch up the toppings every time, making it unique and never boring.
