About the Recipe
If you want to serve a homemade bread that combines the taste and goodness of grains, this multigrain bread is just what you need! Although baking may seem like a complex art, with a bit of patience and the right ingredients, you can achieve truly extraordinary results. This tried-and-true, simple recipe will help you create a rustic and fragrant bread that will win everyone over.

Ingredients
400g of whole wheat flour
100g of sourdough starter
300ml of lukewarm water
10g of salt
50g of sunflower seeds
50g of flaxseeds
50g of sesame seeds
Preparation
Step1
In a large bowl, mix the whole wheat flour, sourdough starter, and lukewarm water, and knead until you have a smooth, homogeneous dough.
Step2
Let it rest for 10 minutes, then incorporate the various seeds and salt.
Step 3
Cover the mixture with a kitchen towel and let it rise in a warm place for about 2-3 hours, or until it doubles in size. During this time, give the dough a few folds to strengthen it (about every hour).
Step 4
Place the dough in a lightly greased and floured bread mold and let it rise for another hour.
Step 5
Preheat the oven to 220°C (428°F) and bake the bread for about 35-40 minutes, or until golden brown.
Why I Love this Recipe:
love this multigrain bread because it’s a true journey into the world of baking, an art that has always fascinated me but also intimidated me for years. With a little patience and plenty of experiments, I’ve finally found this recipe that yields exceptional results in little time and with just a few steps. It's easy to prepare and requires just a bit of waiting for the rising, but the satisfaction of pulling your own loaf of bread out of the oven is priceless! My favorite version? Super simple with a bit of butter and jam, or with ricotta, honey, and figs.
