About the Recipe
Apple and cinnamon pancakes are my go-to quick fix for a tasty and healthy snack. With just a few ingredients and only a couple of minutes, you can whip up a snack that’s pure comfort food. Crispy on the outside and soft on the inside, these fritters are the perfect mix of simplicity and flavor. Ready to give them a try?

Ingredients
1 apple
3 tablespoons of whole wheat flour
1 egg
50 ml of milk (you can use plant-based milk too)
1 teaspoon of sugar (optional)
1/2 teaspoon of ground cinnamon
Preparation
Step1
In a bowl, whisk the egg with the milk until smooth. Add the whole wheat flour and a pinch of cinnamon.
Step2
Wash the apple and remove the core. Slice it into rounds about 1 cm thick. If you prefer, you can peel it, but the peel adds a rustic, nutritious touch.
Step3
Dip the apple slices into the batter: Make sure each slice is well coated.
Step4
In a non-stick pan, heat a drizzle of oil over medium heat. Place the battered apple rings in the pan, cover with a lid, and cook for about 5 minutes. Flip the fritters halfway through to get them golden on both sides.
Step6
Once cooked, transfer the fritters to a plate and sprinkle with a bit of cinnamon powder. If you like, you can dust them with powdered sugar or drizzle with honey to make them even more delicious
Why I Love This Dish?
This dish is the perfect solution for those moments when I crave a tasty snack that’s quick to prepare. The combination of whole wheat flour, milk, and eggs makes these fritters a healthy, nutritious, and delicious choice, while the cinnamon and apples add that natural sweetness I absolutely love.
