THE BLOSSOM BITE
About the Recipe
How many times have you said “just one more and then I’ll stop”… but then you really don’t? Well, these chocolate chip cookies have just that effect. They’re the indulgent treat that everyone loves, the comfort food that turns an ordinary day into something special. And the best part? The dough is like a blank canvas, ready to be customized with anything you like!

Ingredients
1 egg
170 g of all-purpose flour
150 g of butter
5 g of baking powder
70 g of granulated sugar
80 g of brown sugar
Chocolate chips (as much as you like!)
1 teaspoon of vanilla extract
A pinch of salt
Preparation
Step1
In a bowl, mix the eggs with both types of sugar until you achieve a smooth, creamy texture. Add the melted butter and vanilla extract, continuing to stir.
Step2
Now, focus on the dry ingredients. In a separate bowl, combine the flour, baking powder, and salt. Gradually incorporate these ingredients into the mixture, stirring gently. Finally, fold in the chocolate chips.
Step3
Using a spoon, scoop portions of dough and shape them into balls. Fill each one with small pieces of chocolate. Place them on a baking tray lined with parchment paper, leaving some space between each cookie. Refrigerate for 30 minutes.
Step4
Bake for 15-20 minutes at 170°C (340°F). The cookies are ready when the surface is lightly golden—be careful not to overbake them.
Why I Love This Dish
I love these cookies because they’re a burst of indulgence in every bite! They’re perfectly chocolatey yet incredibly versatile. Each time, I can reinvent them: one day I add nuts, another time orange zest, or even a pinch of salt for a chic twist. It’s like having a thousand recipes in one. And baking these cookies is my way of pausing and savoring a moment just for myself… or sharing it with friends. But beware: they’re addictive!
